Data Analyst - All Levels!

Job opening for a professional with expertise in data governance, including Data Quality, Metadata, and policies, knowledge in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and manipulation, familiarity with SQL databases, and ability to write queries to extract relevant information, knowledge of data visualization techniques and chart creation to communicate results, as well as proficiency in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Main activities:

• Collect, clean, and organize geospatial data from various sources.
• Perform spatial analyses to identify patterns, trends, and relationships in geographic datasets.
• Develop and implement spatial models to predict or simulate geographic phenomena.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, geographers, and subject matter experts.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Completed higher education: Bachelor's degree in Geography, Cartography, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Expected Competencies:

• Proven experience in geospatial data analysis and the use of geographic information systems (GIS).
• Solid knowledge of spatial analysis techniques and spatial modeling.
• Ability in cleaning and preparing geospatial data.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams and present results clearly and understandably.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage cartographic data analysis projects.
