Data Scientist - All Levels!

We are seeking a data scientist with experience who enjoys and embraces all the challenges that a consultancy has to offer: different clients, different businesses, and different solutions for each project, using artificial intelligence in general to deliver results for the client.

For this initial assignment, we are specifically looking for individuals with experience in credit risk models - credit scoring, behavior score, EAD, LGD!

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Key activities:

• Develop solutions to meet our clients' needs;
• Lead projects related to market risk management, liquidity, and capital management for our clients;
• Provide support in risk management consulting projects tailored to the financial industry (Banks, Brokerage Firms, Payment Institutions) using the best methodologies, techniques, and tools;
• Direct and execute activities of various complexities related to risk management, particularly integrated risk management;
• Develop statistical models for all segments of Bip Brasil's operations - from initial data treatment to technical documentation of the developed solution;
• Build predictive and machine learning models;
• Develop analytics and BI solutions to provide the best possible solution and experience for the client, ensuring that actions are effectively taken;
• Direct contact with the business consulting team to understand the problem and possible solutions to be developed, increasing our assertiveness and impact;
• Opportunity to develop models using different statistical methodologies and programming languages. Remember: here you can work dynamically on different challenges and businesses;
• Suggest new approaches, whether technical or technological, to evolve the data science practice and add value to users and clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, or Mathematics;
• Experience in Risk Management (preferably in credit risk);
• Knowledge of credit risk metrics;
• Understanding of treasury financial products;
• Knowledge of Risk Management regulations;
• Previous experience in statistical modeling, with an understanding of the modeling process (development of codes for data manipulation, selection, treatment, and analysis of variables and discussion with business areas);
• Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python (development of macros and functions);
• Inquisitive mindset with good logical reasoning;
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with an appetite for significant business challenges and a desire to work in a consulting dynamic.
• Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of Capital Management regulations;
• Proficiency in more than one programming language;
• Experience with BI software;
• Experience in projects using AWS, GCP, or Microsoft;
• Experience in an agile model.
